This motto has been our guide throughout the sourcing of every component in the making of our clothing line. Our products are produced in Portugal with European sourced fabrics and accessories to limit emissions. Our chain of production includes France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, assuring traceability from the drawing of the collection until our pieces reach the hands of our buyers. Each of our pieces speaks to the latest problem-solving innovations in materials science. Using the latest innovations, from the world’s leading research institutions, labs and scientists our fabrics, labels, embroideries, zippers, buttons and hangtags are derived from recycled and upcycled materials.

All our fabrics are made of 100% recycled content post-industrial recycled cotton (R-CO), recycled polyester from upcycled plastic bottles (R-PET) and recycled Roica elastane (R-EA).

Our woven labels and decorative embroideries are made of 100% Recycled Polyester from upcycled plastic bottles.

Our NatulonTM zippers are made of 91% recycled content from post-consumer recycled yarns and upcycled plastic bottles.

Our recycled paper buttons are made of up to 93% content from recycled paper and recycled thermosetting fillers.

At Mon Coeur we are dedicated to care for our workers and we only work with suppliers, manufacturing companies and countries where employees are treated with care, respect and professionalism – where there is a minimum wage, where no child is allowed to work or allowed nearby a factory. Apparel workers are among the lowest paid in the world and we committed from the very beginning to solely work with factories in Italy, Spain, France and Portugal where we can be sure it is respected and reinforced. Being part of a sustainable movement is not only about the material, but how the clothes are made and by whom they are made.
